Welcome to REVEST. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform. By accessing or using REVEST, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About REVEST
REVEST GmbH operates a secondhand fashion marketplace that enables users to automatically invest their sale proceeds in exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Investment services are provided through our BaFin-regulated banking partner.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Germany to use REVEST. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration
You can browse REVEST without creating an account. However, if you want to buy or sell items, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
To use investment features, you must open an additional account via our investment partner and complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) questionnaire and identification steps as required by financial regulations.
4. Marketplace Terms
For Sellers:
- You may list authentic secondhand fashion items
- You retain ownership until the item is sold
- Seller fees: 0%
- You are responsible for accurate item descriptions
For Buyers:
- Buyer fees: 3% of purchase price
- All sales are final unless the item is materially misrepresented
- Returns accepted within 14 days if item condition does not match description
5. Investment Services
Investment functionality is provided by our BaFin-regulated banking partner. By using investment features, you acknowledge:
- Investments carry risk and values may fluctuate
- Past performance is not indicative of future results
- You are responsible for your own investment decisions
- REVEST does not provide investment advice
6. Fees and Payment
- Sellers: 0% commission
- Buyers: 3% transaction fee
- ETF management fees apply as specified by fund providers
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- List counterfeit or stolen items
- Engage in fraudulent transactions
- Manipulate prices or reviews
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
8. Intellectual Property
REVEST and its logos are trademarks of REVEST GmbH. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, REVEST shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Munich, Germany.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification.
